Vimcc the summary conference for Party’s activities in the first six months, orientations and tasks for the last six months of 2014

The conference was attended by Mr. Le Van Duan- Secretary of Party Committee and Vice Director of VIMCC, members of the Executive Board of Party Committee and secretaries, vice secretaries and members of party cells of the company’s Party Committee.

       At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Cong Tung- the Chief of the PartySecretariat expressed the summary report of Party’s activities in the first sixmonths, developing main orientations and tasks for the last six months of 2014.Party construction was always paid attention to and gradually innovated. The leadershiprole of the Party at every level was improved. The Party’s leading work wasattached with duties of inspection and supervision. In addition, the Party’s regulationswere followed strictly in order to build a strong and pure Party organization.

During thepast six months, the Party Committee had worked out and executed the 2014 workingschedule. Monthly, the Party Committee issued resolutions to lead theadministration and unions to complete politic and production-business tasks inthe first six months of the company.  

ViceDirector Le Van Duan assessed the results of production-business activities inthe first six months as not high. In detail, theamount payable to the budget was 7,312.7 million VND; the revenue of the wholecompany reached 59,672.5 million VND, equal to 57% of the value of the sameperiod in 2013, 22.4% against the coordinated business plan and 19.9% againstthe administration plan of the year. The production value reached 37,324.7million VND, equal to 72.8% of the value of the same period in 2013, 24.1%against the coordinated business plan and 23.5% against the administration planof the year. The profit reached 1,591.2 million VND, equal to 56.6% of thevalue of the same period in 2013, equal to 24.1% against the coordinatedbusiness plan and 19.5% against the administration plan of the year. Theaverage income was 11.03 million VND/ person/month whereas the average incomeaccording to the calculated unit price was 5.89 million VND/person/month.  

In parallel with directing the implementation of business tasks, the Party Committee always attached great importanceto thought and political training for Party members. The key objectives were educating  Party members and staffs to execute well thepolicies of the Party and State and propagandizing island and sea sovereignty, China’s lowering the Haiyang Shiyou-981 drillrig illegally inside Viet Nam’s continental shelf and struggling viewsof the Party. The quality of activities of Party cells got into a groove and wasimproved. During the first six months, 7 party members on probation had been approvedofficially by the Party committee of Vinacomin, 4 new party members wereadmitted to, the total number of Party members increased to 158 members.

In thelast 6 months of 2014, the Party Committee of VIMCC would focus on supplyingconcrete guidance and executing the key targets such as trying to reach about100% of basic planned targets; directing the expense reduction strongly; keepingstable income for employees to reach the 2014 production-business targets,continuing to direct the good implementation of Instruction No. 03/CT by theMinistry of Politics about “Studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”

Concludingthe conference, Mr. Le Van Duan- Secretary of Party Committee and Vice Director of VIMCC acknowledgedthe effort of Party cells of the Company andemphasized shortcomings in executing the tasks during the first six months of2014. He also asked Party cells and all Party members of the VIMCC Party Committeeto make every effort to complete the tasks of the last six months and the whole2014.
