VIMCC holds Good Cooking Competition 2014

Following the 2014 working plan of Vinacomin Labor Union Executive Committee and to celebrate the 104th anniversary of International Women’s, the Trade Union of Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIMCC) organized the Good Cooking Competition with the subject “10-point family meal”.

The competition, which was presided over by the Women Union, was enthusiastically responded by 15 teams; each team had 4 members in bright cooking uniform.   

The competition was attended by Mr. Do Hong Nguyen- Chairman of Management Board and Director of VIMCC, Mr. Le Van Duan- Secretary of Party  Committee and Vice Director of VIMCC, Chief of the Board for advancement of women, Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong- Vice Director of VIMCC and Vice secretary of Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Chi Bao- Chairman of Labor Union, senior management of enterprises, departments and centers together with 60 candidates from 15 women union teams and all staffs of VIMCC.

Family meals were made skillfully for 90 minutes with more than 100 dishes representing the different areas in our country, containing traditional features and various colors and tastes.

With the active and fair working spirit of the examiner board and positive coordination of the organization board, the office team was awarded “special prize”; 02 First prizes belonged to the Planning Department team and Technology Transfer and Trading Enterprise team No.1; 03 second prizes belonged to the Technology Transfer and Trading Enterprise Team No.2, Technical Department team and Hon Gai Coal Design Enterprise team; 04 Third prizes were given to the Environmental Geological Department team, Labor Organization Department team, Mining Economic Department team No.2 and Accounting Financing Department team; the rest were awarded encouraging prizes.  

The organization board of the competition rewarded the Nice Decoration prize to the Hon Gai Coal Design Enterprise team, Technology Transfer and Trading Enterprise team No.1 and Mining Economic Department Team No.1. The Good Representation prize was given to the Office team and Planning Department team. 

Mr. Pham Cong Huong- Former Director of VIMCC and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thu- Director of Hon Gai Coal Design Enterprise contributed expenses to fund this competition.

This was an activity to honor the ability and skill of women staffs. The competition helped women staffs improve their nutritional and health knowledge as well as housework and cooking skills. It also created an opportunity for women staffs to learn and exchange experience to improve the quality of meals in their families and the company. Besides, it created a cheerful atmosphere for staffs to work actively and make good achievements to celebrate the 104^th anniversary of the International Women’s Day.
