Conference on preliminary summary of movements of employees and trade-union activities in the third quarter of 2020

On the morning of October 7, the Trade Union of Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIMCC) held the conference on preliminary summary of s of employees and trade-union activities of the third quarter, the first 9 months of the year and development of tasks of the fourth quarter of 2020. Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union chaired the conference.

In the first 9 months of 2020, the Trade Union has coordinated with its expertise party to promote the emulation movements, encourage employees in their work to overcome difficulties and successfully complete the assigned tasks. Due to the complicated happening of the Covid-19 epidemic spreading around the world, including Vietnam. In Vietnam, the epidemic broke out for the second time in mid-July 2020, leading to a significant impact on labor productivity, reduced revenue, profitability and increased costs for epidemic prevention. However, with the direction and management of the Directory Board of the Company and political organizations from the company to the units in implementing strong and drastic measures promoted production and business activities from the beginning time so, the production and business activities achieved positive results.

Reporting at the conference, Mrs. To Thi My Binh - Member of the Standing Committee  presented that in the first 9 months of 2020, the Trade Union at all levels of the Company actively propagated and organized many practical activities and launched emulation movements, works to welcome the Party Congress of the Company and the Party Congress of the Vietnam National Coal- Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin), strengthened communication on the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and fire and  explosion prevention, instructed employees to install Bluezone application in Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control, took interest in trade-union members and employees by doing practical things as equipping masks, hand sanitizer, and body temperature, deploying the program of promoting products of Dutch Dairy Joint Stock Company to improve health and increase the resistance to employees; gave gifts to employees with difficult circumstances; organized domestic vacation trips for employees, gave gifts for children of Company's employees on the occasion of Children's Day June 1^st ...

In the first 9 months of the year, the trade-union activities were focused on summarizing the activities to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2019, caring about the life of employees on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2020, developed a work program in 2020, holding the 2020 conference of delegates of employees of the company, propaganda on the Party Congress at all levels towards the XIII National Party Congress, the activities to celebrate International Women's Day (March 8) suitable with the epidemic prevention situation, successfully holding one safe and happy summer vacation tour to encourage the employees and offering many solutions for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong praised the results of trade-union activities in the first 9 months of the year. He highly appreciated the activities that went into depth, well doing of propaganda, especially propaganda of Covid-19 epidemic prevention, well caring about the material and spiritual life of employees. He suggested that in the last 3 months of 2020, the Trade Union will continue to promote its role to strengthen the prevention of Covid -19 epidemic, organize emulation movements, replicate advanced examples, promptly reward and praise collectives and individuals with excellent innovations, technical improvements and solutions; maintain the living standard, periodical reports, carry out the trade union's financial receipts and expenses in accordance with regulations, promote practical and effective emulation movements to contribute to building the company in general and the Trade Union in particular, increasingly strong.
