VIMCC TRADE UNION ORGANIZES A CONFERENCE ON 2020 TRADE UNION WORK SUMMARIZATION AND 2021 TASK AND ORIENTATION PROPOSAL

On January 15th, 2021, the Trade Union of Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIMCC) held a Conference on summarizing the Trade Union work in 2020 and proposing the tasks and orientations in 2021 at the Company’s office.

The Conference was attended by Mr. Le Van Duan - Party Committee Secretary cum Director of the Company, Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong - Trade Union Chairman cum Deputy Director of the Company, members of the Trade Union Executive Committee, leaders and deputy leaders of Trade Union Teams of departments, divisions and affiliated enterprises, and leaders of the Women’s Union Teams.

 

Mrs. To Thi My Binh – Deputy Chairwoman of the VIMCC Trade Union made a report at the Conference

At the Conference, Mrs. To Thi My Binh – Deputy Chairwoman of the VIMCC Trade Union said that in 2020, the VIMCC Trade Union always closely followed the leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Company and successfully completed the work programs according to the proposed plan; all activities were carried out in conformity with the principles and in a manner of saving, cost reduction for activities and improvement of work quality and efficiency. All Trade Union activities were implemented effectively, enthusiastically and widely, with a focus on better care of the material and spiritual life for Trade Union members and employees. As a result, the employees of the whole Company had stable jobs and relatively high income with a safe working environment. These achievements were obtained thanks to the solidarity, enthusiasm, spirit of responsibility, dynamism and creativity of Trade Union leaders at all levels and especially the enthusiastic support of VIMCC Trade Union members and employees to all activities of the Trade Union.

In 2020, the Trade Union coordinated with the Company to execute the work of COVID-19 pandemic prevention well (No employees of the Company were infected with SARS-CoV-2), propagandize the 10^th Party Committee Congress of the Company in the term of 2020-2025, develop the resolution of the Company’s Party Committee Congress, organize many practical activities, caring for and encourage employees such as organizing a summer vacation tour for employees, holding a visit to Ninh Binh for female employees on the occasion of celebrating the Vietnamese Women’s Day – October 20^th, taking care of employees on the occasion of the Workers’ Month, children and teenagers such as giving gifts to them on the occasion of the Children’s Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, and organize many cultural and sports activities such as football exchanges among departments and units within the Company.

The conference participants considered, discussed and contributed opinions to the Report on the results of Trade Union activities of the Company in 2020 and development of orientations and tasks in 2021, 2020 Inspection Work Report and 2020 Financial Report. All participants had active discussions about the main contents of the reports.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Van Duan - Party Committee Secretary cum Director of the Company highly appreciated the results of VIMCC Trade Union activities over the past years. In 2020, the VIMCC Trade Union participated enthusiastically in the events organized by the Vinacomin Trade Union, developed the tasks in the labor movements as well as Trade Union activities within the company comprehensively, efficiently and successfully. In addition, he recognized and praised the achievements of the VIMCC Trade Union over the past period. He hoped that VIMCC Trade Union would continue to bring into full play the achieved results, closely follow the programs and plans, develop the activities with specific goals, step up emulation movements, promote technical initiatives andl innovations, and improve living standards for employees.

   Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong - Trade Union Chairman cum Deputy Director of the Company awarded the Certificates of Merit by the Vinacomin Trade Union to the excellent individuals.

On this occasion, the VIMCC Trade Union announced the Commendation Decision of the VIMCC Trade Union and granted the reward to one individual with outstanding achievements in the mobilization of employees and the “Good at State and Family Affairs” emulation movement in the period of 2010-2020; 02 groups and one individual with excellent achievements in the official and worker movement and Trade Union activities. In addition, the Commendation Decision of the VIMCC Trade Union was made public; 08 groups with excellent completion of tasks, 08 groups with completion of tasks and 62 Trade Union members with excellent achievements in the 2020 Trade Union activities received the rewards from the VIMCC Trade Union.
