Meeting and checking the progress of delayed Vinacomin-level technology and science studiesunder the plan in 2015 and earlier of the units.

In the afternoon of August 18th, 2016, Vietnam National Coal-Minernal Industries Holding Corporation Limited (VINACOMIN) hold the meeting with the main content of reviewing the the implementation of the VinacominGroup-level studies, analyzing the subjective and objective causesto the delayed studies and then proposing the solutions to solve and overcome.

Under the direction of Mr. KhuatManhThang - Vice managing director of VINACOMIN, the meeting was attended by leaders of the Boards of the VINACOMIN such as Development Strategy & Information Technology Science Board, Engineering Board, Labour Organization Board, Transport-Electromechanic Board and Natural Resources Board and leaders of units which are responsible for the Vinacomin Group-level studies and study managers.

Attending the meeting was Technology & science enterprise – Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIMCC)  included Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong-Vice Directorof VIMCC-delegation leader; Mr. Tran Minh Nguyen-Deputy Manager of Engineering Department and study managers.

At the meeting Mr. Pham Cong Huong - Chief of Quality Control Boardmade a report on the implementation of Vinacomin-level studies in recent years. Accordingly, many studies had good ideas and solved the urgent problems of actual production, in which the research results of many studies are applied to bring the practical results. However, some studies were not really attached to the actual production, such as the study on researching and manufacturing the underground excavators implemented by Uong Bi Automobile Mechanic Company. This device wasonly suitable for the construction process of underground roads with driving area of over 11.2 m2 whereas this underground road wasnot popular in fact.

On the implementation progress, many studies ensured timely and finished before the required time. However, the delayed progress was the biggest problem in the implementation of Vinacomin-level studies. The conference analyzed the subjective and objective causes of delayed progress of studies under the technology and science plan in 2015 and earlier.

Three main units perform Vinacomin-level studies, including: Technology & science enterprise – Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIMCC); Institute of Mining Science and Technology – Vinacomin(IMSAT); Institute of Energy and Mining Mechanical Engineering – Vinacomin (IEMM).In the present, VIMCC does not have the delayed studies under the plan in 2015 and earlier, one study: "Researching and building the determining method of the machinery shift and construction equipment in the underground mine” is awaiting the official acceptance of Vinacomin. IMSAT and IEMM still have some delayed studies so it is necessary to give the subjective and objective studies to have the measures to handle.

At the end of the conference, Mr. KhuatManhThang - Vice managing director of VINACOMIN guided: 1) Completing the progress reports, building regulations in controlling the implementation process of studies; 2) The units have overdue studies before August 31^st, 2016, these units must send the documents and files to the related Boards of Vinacomin such as: Development Strategy & Information Technology Science Board, Engineering Board, Labour Organization Board, Transport-Electromechanic Board and Natural Resources Board... to determine the causes and consider the solutions; 3) The production units should soon complete the organizational structure of managing studies according to the tendency of controlling the implementation of studies better and encourage all staff proposing the new ideas; 4) The Development Strategy & Information Technology Science Board is responsible for synthetizing the working results of this meeting and widely notifying for the units of Vinacomin.
