The conference of grassroots-level assessment, acceptanceof the study

On December 12, 2016, Technology & science enterprise – VIMCC Company held the conference of grassroots-level assessment, acceptance of the study “Research for completing the rational forced drainage calculation method for coal open-cut mines as Deo Nai, Coc Sau and Cao Son”.

The grassroots-level technological and scientific Council was established under Decision No. 420 dated November 18, 2016 by VIMCC’s Director including 07 members, MSc Nguyen Viet Cuong – Deputy Director is the Council’s chairman.

Targets:

Completing the rational forced drainage calculation methodfor coal open-cut mines as Deo Nai, Coc Sau and Cao Son in a scientific and unified manner in accordance with the production practice in order to calculate correctly and fully the number of pump systems ensuring thatthe amount of water was pumped out to be able to deepen the mine bottom as usual in a reasonable time after the rainy season ends.

Main contents:

- The hydro-geological characteristics of the coal open-cut mines as Deo Nai, Coc Sau and Cao Son;

- Overview of the design, exploitation situation in recent years and the exploitation direction in the next time of the coal open-cut mines as Deo Nai, Coc Sau and Cao Son;

- Synthetizing, analyzing  and evaluating the situation of the forced drainage pumping of the coal open-cut mines as Deo Nai, Coc Sau and Cao Son in recent years;

- Research for completing the rational forced drainage calculation method for coal open-cut mines as Deo Nai, Coc Sau and Cao Son;

- Calculating to apply to a particular mine.

At the conference, the members of the Council contributed many opinions to completing  the summary report of the studybefore December 20, 2016 to submit to the Industry and Trade Ministry-level technological and scientific Council for approval./.
