Signing ceremony for cooperation on training and technological scientific research between Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company

On the afternoon of April 22, 2016, the signing ceremony for cooperation on training and technological scientific research between Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIMCC) and Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) took place at the headquarters of VIMCC (No. 565, Nguyen Trai street, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi).

The ceremony was attended by the VIMCC representatives including Director Do Hong Nguyen, Deputy Director Le Viet Phuong, Technical Department Deputy Manager Le Duc Phuong and other related staff.

The HUMG representatives included Mr. Le Hai An – Rector, Mr. Bui Xuan Nam – Deputy Rector, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Long – Deputy Head of Mine Geodesy Department and other related staff.

After bilateral discussions, the two parties agreed to sign the minutes on cooperation on training and technological scientific research with the following contents:

A. Technological scientific research:

1. The two parties continue to complete the objectives and contents of 13 studies including 04 studies proposed by VIMCC and 09 studies proposed by HUMG to register with Vinacomin. 

2. The two parties continue to complete the objectives and contents of 03 studies proposed by HUMG to register with coal companies directly under Vinacomin.

3. The two parties shall make a proposal to Vinacomin together relating to creating a specific policy to enable the two parties to coordinate directly with producing companies to develop studies that can be put into practice during the production.

4. In case the two parties can propose studies with high practicability, the two parties shall coordinate with each other to register additionally with Vinacomin at any time but not periodically.

5. The two parties maintain the relationship by glues as assigned and regularly exchange views with each other to seek for, build and propose new and practical studies.

6. The staff of the two parties take the initiative to regularly coordinate with producing companies to seek for, build and propose studies appropriate to the practical production situation yearly.

7. All the parties organize the prequalification of studies and projects before collecting and classifying them so that the parties consider them together and register with management agencies.

8. The two parties are proactive to coordinate with each other to study in advance the theme “Studying to build the software of processing observation data and estimating surface deformation due to underground mining in Quang Ninh region” using their internal finance.

B. Training

HUMG shall have a specific training policy towards VIMCC and Vinacomin, especially in the work of postgraduate training associated with studies to be developed.

VIMCC assists HUMG in the work of fostering young staff and practice of HUMG’s students, especially students of Mining, Electro-Mechanic and Construction  Faculties.

C.  Others

1. In mid-May 2016, VIMCC shall organize a seminar on scientific and technological studies to be registered additionally with Vinacomin with the participation of HUMG and Vinacomin’s KCL Department. To help the seminar get high results, all the parties have to prepare carefully the objectives and contents of 16 studies and organize the prequalification. 

2. The two parties coordinate to prepare the necessary contents so that the leaders of the two parties make a report to the leaders of Vinacomin in early June 2016.

3. Quarterly, the two parties shall have a meeting to discuss the operation results within such quarter and plan of the next quarter.
