The signing ceremony for establishing strategic partnership cooperative relations between Vinacomin - Ha Long Coal Company and Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIMCC)

The signing ceremony was attended by the representatives of Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (VIMCC) who were Do Hong Nguyen - Chairman of Management Board and Director of the Company; Duong Phi Hung - Chief of Vinacomin’s Strategy Committee and Member of Management Board of VIMCC; Nguyen Viet Cuong - Deputy Director of VIMCC; Nguyen Chi Bao - Chairman of VIMCC Trade Union and Department Managers, Directors of Enterprises and subsidiaries of VIMCC. The representatives of Vinacomin - Ha Long Coal Company were Vu Van Dien -Director of the Company, Ha Manh Thuong - Deputy Director of the Company; Members of the Party Standing Committee, Executive Board of Trade Union, Executive Board of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Department Managers of the Company.

 In recent years, cooperative relationships between VIMCC and Vinacomin - Ha Long Coal Company has always been paid attention to and promoted by the leaders and employees of both companies. The consulting and design works for the mines of Vinacomin - Ha Long Coal Company have been coordinated closely and effectively by both units in the spirit of cooperation and development, like Bac Coc Sau coal mining project; Project of mining the shaft part of Ha Rang coal mine; Project of maintaining production under the +40 level of Tay Da Mai area; Research of possibility of mining Tay Nga Hai area and Da Bac area; Verification  work of Technical design - Total cost estimate, construction drawing design - estimate and construction supervision of underground mining project of Khe Cham II - IV mine; Research and searching for advanced mining technology suitable with geological conditions of Ha Rang mine. Both parties gained good results from these work.

With the cooperation results achieved, in the signing ceremony, the cooperation plan in 2014 and the subsequent years was discussed and agreed upon by the leaders of two units. Accordingly, some specific works will be focused  on, like: Development of making the investment project for mining the underground expanded part of Ha Rang mine; Continuing to executive the contract of construction supervision of underground mining project of Khe Cham II - IV mine; Organizing the verification of design documents, making the technical and economic reports; Adjusting the projects, designs and the normative unit prices of the works; Researching, selecting and proposing the advanced mining technology suitable with geological conditions of Ha Rang mine; Auditing and making the technological solutions to driving, mining, ventilation, transport, drainage, supply of electricity, water and compressed air, coal preparation and screening; projects of environmental rehabilitation; general plan planning; construction of the works, etc for meeting the production demands at coal processing and mining areas of Vinacomin - Ha Long Coal Company in order to improve the business and production efficiency, level of safety and working conditions of the employees.

Director of Ha Long Coal Company, Vu Van Dien said the establishment of strategic partnership cooperative relations between the two units has marked an important advance in the long-term strategic cooperative relationship between Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company and Vinacomin - Ha Long Coal Company. That event confirmed the good traditional relationship between the two units as well as the commitment on being fellow-traveller and providing long-term support in the fields of investment consulting and mine design to Ha Long coal Company in particular and for the development of Vietnam's coal industry in general.

After the signing ceremony, the two football teams of the two companies had a friendly match with enthusiastic cheers of the leaders and staffs of the two units.
