The sixth conference of the seventh Vietnam Mining Science and Technology Association Central Committee
On April 3, 2015, the sixth conference of the seventh Vietnam Mining Science and Technology Association Central Committee was held at the head office of Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company and hosted by Association President Dr. Tran Xuan Hoa.
Conference’s overview
The conference was attended by the President, Vice President and members of the Central Committee; members of Level Improvement and Science Department, Foreign Affairs Department, Inspection Department, etc. Dr. Dao Dac Tho, Vice President cum Secretary General of the Association delivered the 2014 summary report and action program of the Association in 2015. The delegates agreed to the report and had an ebullient discussion about the 2015 action program. The delegates realized that although there were many difficulties due to the current socio-economic context of the country and many challenges facing the mining industry, the staff of the mining industry and members of the Association made outstanding efforts to keep the production stable, maintain and stabilize the material and spiritual life of mining workers, ensure labor safety and protect the environment.
The whole conference agreed to the conference’s resolution with eight points in order to fulfill well the tasks of the Association in 2015.

With the Association’s achievements in 2014, Vietnam Union of Scientific and Technological Associations granted the certificate of merit “Completing excellently the tasks in 2014, contributing to development of the Vietnam Union of Scientific and Technological Associations” for the whole staff and members of Vietnam Mining Science and Technology Association. At the same time, Vietnam Union of Scientific and Technological Associations granted the certificates of merits for six Vietnam Mining Science and Technology Association branches that got many achievements in the Association’s activities. This is a foundation to celebrate the coming 50th anniversary of its establishment.
