VIMCC works with Vinacomin Duong Huy Coal Holding Company Limited

On May 26, 2015, the task force of Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company led by Deputy Director Nguyen Viet Cuong had a working session at the head office of Vinacomin Duong Huy Coal Holding Company Limited.

At the working session, the two parties discussed the contents of the outline and cost estimation for working out “Feasibility study report on construction investment for production maintenance driving and mining from -100 to -250 of Khe Tam coal mine – Duong Huy Coal Company”.

The project for mining the shaft part of Khe Tam coal mine – Vinacomin Duong Huy Coal Holding Company Limited started construction in 2006. Until December 31, 2004, Vinacomin Duong Huy Coal Holding Company Limited has driven 25,519 capital construction road meters out of 26,685 capital construction road meters, accounting for 95.6 %. The capital construction stage is planned to be ended in 2015 (The total capital construction period is nearly 10 years).

Based on the mining and driving plan of Vinacomin Duong Huy Coal Holding Company Limited, the remaining workable coal reserves of the horizon of +38 ÷ -100 is about 26,696,000 tons until 31 December 2014; the year estimated to reach the designed capacity of 2.5 million tons/year is 2017. According to the preliminary calculation of VIMCC, the mine’s output will decrease gradually from 2022. To maintain stably the capacity of 2.5 million tons/year, Vinacomin Duong Huy Coal Holding Company Limited will start to mobilize the reserves of the horizon of -100 ÷ -250 from 2022.

Therefore, it is necessary to prepare the plan of capital construction road driving and mining of the -100 ÷ -250 horizon in order to ensure the coal production progress of the -100 ÷ -250 horizon and have appropriate technical measures between driving and mining of the  +38 ÷ -100 horizon and production preparation driving of the -100 ÷ -250 horizon.

With a straight and open-hearted working spirit, the working session took place successfully with mutual unanimity.
