Fire protection training course 2016

Fire protection is one of the very important work contents in order to protect the human life and health, protect assets of the nation and people and help ensure the security as well as social order and safety.

In order to execute well the fire protection work within the company and improve the awareness, role and responsibility of fire protection for individuals of the Fire Protection Team of the company, the company’s Fire Protection Steering Committee opened a fire protection and rescue training course for cadres and members of the company’s Fire Protection Team on November 18, 2016.  The training course was hosted by senior lieutenant NguyenMinh Tan who is a teacher of the University of Fire Fighting and Prevention.

During the training course, the trainees were provided with information about big fires causing serious human and asset losses which happened over the whole country and in Hanoi over recent years.

In addition, the trainees grasped the basic knowledge of fire protection, legal documents of fire protection, causes of fires and some fire protection measures at their company and families. The trainer provided the Fire Protection Team with instructions for using fire fighting means at site, skills, ways to deal with circumstances when fires and explosions happen, exit skills as well as fire-fighting measures.

After the theoretical training session, the trainees of the company’s Fire Protection Team practiced ways to use fire powder extinguishers and CO₂ fire extinguishers to stamp out fires as well as ways to deal with possible circumstances quickly thanks to the trainer’s help.

This training course was prepared well in terms of people as well as facilities for fire protection. It is an occasion for the company’s Fire Protection Team to improve their knowledge and sense of responsibility for fire protection activities and thus being active in the work of fire protection when fires and explosions happen.
