Meeting to discuss options for making technical design of Khanh Hoa opencast mining project

On May 5, 2015, the conference to discuss plans for making construction drawing design of project for investment in work construction of Khanh Hoa opencast mine was held at the office of Khanh Hoa Coal Company.

                          

The conference was attended by Vice General Director Vu Dinh Len, Project Department Manager Le Xuan Ngoi, Technical Department Manager Pham Van Lo and and related staffs of Vinacomin - Viet Bac Mining Industry Holding Corporation Limited; Director Trinh Hong Ngan, Vive director Bui Ngoc Hung, Technical Department manager Vu Dinh De and related staffs of Khanh Hoa Coal Company – VVMI; Vive director Le Viet Phuong, Vice Manager of Open cast mining Department Nguyen Xuan Binh, Vive Manager of Surface Engineering Department Luu Tuan Dung, Vice Manager of Mineral Preparation & Mechanical Department Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Vice Manager of  Invironmental – Geological Department Le Van Dong and related staffs of Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company.

Along with the development of the country, the coal demand for factories in Thai Nguyen province and other consumers continues to rise rapidly, especially supply of coal for An Khanh Thermal Power Plant in the end of the year 2013, Khanh Hoa Coal Company has carried out mining in maximum of design capacity but it is not still enough to meet the coal demand of the consumers.

                          
In order to meet the coal use demand in Thai Nguyen province and be suitable with development plan of coal industry to 2020 with prospect to 2030, making Khanh Hoa open-cast mining project (improvement and expansion) is necessary and imperative.

On the basis of resource reserves in the management boundary of the mine, topographic characteristics of the mining current state, infrastructure and available production capacity, the project was researched,  calculated and selected technical and technological solutions of Khanh Hoa coal Mine to meet the coal demand of the national economy and ensure economic efficiency in general, contributes to the socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen province in particular.

After two urgently, seriously working hours, the issues were agreed in the conference to carry out making construction drawing design of project for investment in work construction of Khanh Hoa open cast mine project.
