SUMMARY CONFERENCE OF PRODUCTION- BUSINESS WORK IN THE FIRST SIX MONTHS AND ORIENTATIONS-TASKS FOR THE LAST SIX MONTHS OF 2014

On July 7th, 2014, Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company organized the summary conference of production-business work in the first six months and orientations-tasks for the last six months of 2014. The conference was chaired by Mr. Do Hong Nguyen- Chairman of Management Board and Director of VIMCC.

                At the conference, Mr. Le Van Duan- Vice Director of the company presented the summary report about production-business activities in the first six months and orientations-tasks for the last six months of 2014. With difficulties of the economy in general and difficulties of the coal industry in particular in the first six months, the results of production-business activities of the company were not high. The amount payable to the budget was 7,312.7 million VND; the revenue of the whole company reached 59,672.5 million VND, equal to 57% of the value of the same period in 2013, 22.4% against the coordinated business plan and 19.9% against  the  administration plan of the year. The production value reached 37,324.7 million VND, equal to 72.8% of the value of the same period in 2013, 24.1% against the coordinated business plan and 23.5% against  the  administration plan of the year. The profit reached 1,591.2 million VND, equal to 56.6% of the value of the same period in 2013, equal to 24.1% against the coordinated business plan and 19.5% against  the  administration plan of the year. The average income was 11.03 million VND/ person/month.  

Expressing at the conference, Mr. Do Hong Nguyen highly appreciated the effort of all staffs in the whole company and supplied concrete guidance to the units to develop specific tasks to reach the targets set in the administration plan. He also asked to attach further special importance to the work of training and fostering human resources; improve product quality gradually; and cooperate and coordinate more closely with production units inside and outside the coal industry.

                During the discussion, the company’s Trade Union Chairman, directors of branches and sub-companies, managers and deputy-managers of departments and project managers showed  their high agreement on the report presented by the company’s leader and gave their petitions and  proposal of solutions to overcome difficulties in the last six months of 2014 as well as development direction for the next years.            

            Concluding the conference, Mr. Do Hong Nguyen-Director of VIMCC acknowledged the effort of all staffs in the whole company in implementing the tasks of the first-six-month plan and asked the departments, boards, branches and sub-companies to make more effort to complete the tasks of the last-six-month plan and the whole year 2014 in order to make achievements in honor of the 50^th anniversary of Company establishment (September 22^nd, 1965- September 22^nd,  2015).
