The 69th Anniversary of Vietnam Archives Day (03/01/1946 – 03/01/2015)

The significance and importance of the Archives work and the National Archives are always appreciated by Vietnam Party and State. On 01/03/1946 Ho Chi Minh - President of The interim Government of Vietnam Democratic Republic signed the Notice No. 01C/VP sent to Ministers. The Notice is insisted "Archives documents have the special value on national reconstruction aspects and Archives documents are forbidden to destroy if clear destroying commands are not allowed"...

With great significance and importance of archives work for society and the country’s construction and defense, on 17/9/2007 the Prime Minister decided the annual January 3^rd is the traditional day of Vietnam Archives industry - named "Vietnam Archives Day".

                Vietnam Archives Law promulgated by the National Assembly with efficiency since 01/7/2012 confirmed that the archives work is of the indispensable field of any governments, agencies, organizations has institutionalized by law to create the highest legal basis for the archives work with unified management and implementation, archives documents are protected and the archives values are promoted.

                In recent years, Archives and science - technology Information Department and the company’s office helped Vinacomin Industry Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company on archives management of documents and directly managed archives documents of the company. The management activities of archives work was particularly interested in and  effective implementing organization knew by issuing documents on management, inspection, professional guidance and law propagation of archives work. The professional training for company’s archives staff are attached and their professional skill are improved to better meet the work requirements of the company in the current stage.
